History and Mission
ConQuest is a provider of pest control and we serve the greater metropolitan District of Columbia. Established in 1995 to advocate environmentally responsible pest control and to offer alternative cures apart from chemical application, our company and its representatives try to improve pest control services today and everyday. We care about our client’s well-being and work hand-in-hand with management professionals to deliver reputable service. We intend to cure pestering conditions and we offer programs to maintain pest-free homes and places of work.
Services
ConQuest is recruited by professionals who represent condominium associations and corporate offices primarily. These professionals seek an expert to manage pest control successfully. Our company will create customized programs of pest control and we will conform to standard requests for proposals when a program’s objectives align with our mission. ConQuest can fulfill all U.S. Green Building Council LEED requirements as a certified pest control vendor.

Mike Mancuso
Mike Mancuso is the founder and CEO of ConQuest Pest Control, Inc. He began his career with an Eastern Shore custom home builder and developer as a project and tradesman supervisor for twelve years. Mike became a resident of the District of Columbia in 1992 and trained to become a Certified Pesticide Applicator. He founded ConQuest in 1995 to offer his unique construction skill-set to an industry moving toward greener solutions from chemical pest control. Mike recruits and trains our Certified Pesticide Applicators to ensure our service continues this unique offering.
Jim Friesen

Jim Friesen
Jim Friesen is the co-founder and COO of ConQuest Pest Control, Inc. He received his Bachelor's Degree of Science in Business Administration in 1991 from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Jim relocated to Washington, D.C. in 1994 to pursue his Master of Arts from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. During his academic pursuit, Jim was diagnosed with cancer. Jim developed a sensitive nature to environmental preservation and sustainable development during his recovery and convalescence. Jim met Mike, ConQuest's founder, during this time and this sparked an interest to join forces in a business that would help to educate consumers about the impact of pesticides, waste and better practices in the chemical handling trade.
Blane Paugh
Pesticide Applicator
Blane Paugh
Blane Paugh is a Certified Pesticide Applicator and is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. He joined ConQuest Pest Control in 2014. Blane’s service is attentive. He is a dedicated teammate who cares about providing his clients with a positive experience. Blane uses measured steps, a characteristic learned from his father, a Veteran of our U.S. military, in serving our community of clients. His good character has earned him a large portfolio of our long-term clients who have come to expect only the very best.
